Your donation helps high quality programs and services that achieve dramatic results on priority needs such as Crisis Intervention, Education, Emergency Assistance, Health, Children and Youth.

Your donation supports 27 local agencies that give people hope by helping them break free from povery, addiction, and abuse. Your donation helps feed the elderly, clothe the poor, house the homeless and teach adults how to read. By giving to the Habersham County United Way, you make it possible for our public libraries to purchase children's books that inspire girls and boys to learn and dream.     • No program is funded until it is rigorously reviewed by trained volunteers. These volunteer experts evaluate health and human service programs and decide which are most vital and effective to ensure that your money is well spent.

    • Your contribution is invested wisely. More than 99 cents of every dollar collected stays in Habersham County. United Way distributes contributions through a community based allocations process that determine funding of agency programs that work together to improve our community.

  • We are EFFECTIVE

    • The programs funded assist people who want and need help. Some people learn to read, some become better parents. Children are nurtured, stronger and healthier families are created.
